3. Quotations and Estimates
All quotations or estimates are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Any additional work not included in the original quotation will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

4. Bookings and Cancellations
Appointments can be booked via phone, email, or our online contact form.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out or cancellation fee.
If we need to reschedule or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible.

5. Payments
Payments are generally due upon completion of the work, although we may require staged payments for larger projects.

For larger projects or installations, a deposit may be required before work begins.
Late payments may result in additional charges or interest as permitted by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Guarantees and Warranties
All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion unless otherwise stated.
Manufacturer warranties apply to all supplied parts or products.
Guarantees may be voided if third parties modify or tamper with our work.

7. Liability
We take great care in our work but are not responsible for pre-existing faults or issues within your property’s systems.
We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or inconvenience) arising from the services provided.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other matter which cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. Access and Responsibilities
Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property for our engineers.
We may refuse to carry out work if conditions are unsafe or hazardous.
Any delays caused by lack of access or preparation may result in additional charges.

9. Materials and Parts
Any materials supplied remain the property of J Ford Heating & Plumbing until paid in full.
If you provide your own materials, we cannot be held responsible for defects, compatibility issues, or delays resulting from those materials.
